KEIRINCKX, Alexander

Flemish painter (b. 1600, Antwerpen, d. 1652, Amsterdam). Flemish painter. He was the son of Matthijs Keirinckx and Anna Masson. In 1619 he became a master in Antwerp's Guild of St Luke, he married Clara Matthausen on 18 June 1622, and in 1624 he took on Artus Verhoeven as an apprentice. From 1636 onwards he is regularly recorded in Amsterdam, where he was registered as a citizen in the year of his death. He visited Great Britain, possibly in 1625 (Walpole mentions two signed and dated drawings of London views from this year) and definitely in 1640-41, when he undertook commissions from King Charles I to paint views of royal castles and palaces.   Related Paintings of KEIRINCKX, Alexander :. | Falstaff | View of the Village of Castelnau-le-lez | Moon-light landscape (mk43) | An Interior after Dinner | Rose Mead; Barbara Stone |

Abraham Storck
Abraham Storck (or Sturckenburch) (bapt. April 17, 1644 - buried April 8, 1708), was a Dutch landscape and maritime painter of the Baroque era. Storck was born and died in Amsterdam, and came from a family of painters of the same name. He had a painter's studio in Amsterdam producing naval and harbor scenes as well as landscape paintings. He was influenced by the two Willem van de Veldes (the elder and the younger) and by Jan Abrahamsz Beerstraaten.
Jan van Haensbergen
(1642-1705) was a Dutch Golden Age painter. He was registered in the Utrecht Guild of St. Luke in 1668 and in 1669 he was registered in the Confrerie Pictura in The Hague, where he worked until he died.According to Houbraken he was a student of Cornelius van Poelenburgh, and though he was quite successful in imitating his master's style, he switched to portraits since he could make a comfortable living that way.Though he is considered by some to have been born in Utrecht, he signed his name 'Joh. Haensbergh Gorco fecit', which leads historians to conclude he was from Gorinchem. His portraits show the influence of Caspar Netscher.
